Two Villages One Parish

The church of St George in Shimpling is kept by the Churches Conservation Trust. Some events are held there each year – including a Carol Service by Candlelight in December.

Burston Strike School which hosts a rally each year in September to commemorate the longest strike in history and is used as a polling station too.
